Here’s a spectacular 1969 Topps Baseball complete set in the kind of condition you’d hope for, essentially Near-Mint, with some Ex-Mt, and with three dozen slabbed Hall of Famers providing a nice glimpse into the wider condition range. That august group features a PSA 9 Mint Harmon Killebrew, five (5) PSA 8’s (Gibson, Cepeda, and All-Star cards of Carew, Rose and Yastrzemski), 16 PSA 7’s and almost a dozen PSA 6’s. It’s truly rare to see such a uniform and consistent set, right down to the flaming salmon-pink card backs, everything exceptionally crisp and clean, and with centering fairly typical for the issue. The only missing card is Nolan Ryan, who is card No. 533 in the set. Cards slabbed and raw boast vivid colors and excellent gloss, a simply extraordinary presentation of major leaguers in the game’s centennial campaign.
