Presented is an extraordinary grouping of pristine 1969 Topps Baseball cards, an array loaded with nearly five dozen Hall of Famers, hundreds of Specials and similar numbers of stars and minor stars, almost all in a stunning Near-Mint condition, with some below and a good deal of duplication, even among some of the key Hall of Famers and Specials. A Reggie Jackson Rookie card headlines, along with regular-issue cards of Aaron (2), Mays, Clemente (2), Rose (2), Bench, Banks (7), Yastrzemski, Carlton (2), Brooks Robinson, Morgan (6), Brock (4), Gibson (2), Durocher (2), Aparicio (6), Hunter (2), Drysdale, Perez, Cepeda, Jenkins, Alston (5), Sutton and Bunning, plus Wills (5) and Oliver Rookies (2). The lineup of Specials is similarly imposing: including four dozen League Leaders (two complete sets and duplicates); World Series subset cards (8); Checklists (5), including Series Five with Mantle; and 40 Rookie subset cards. For the balance of the array, with many dozens of stars and minor stars, the vast majority of the group come from Series One through Three. A sampling of the more significant duplication: Dark (8), Cater (6), Mayo Smith (6), Marshall (6), Mombourquette (5), Cash (5), Willie Davis (5), Ken Harrelson (4), Jesus Alou (4), Tony Taylor (4), Callison (4), Monday (3), Powell (3) and Harper (3), to name a few. Quite simply, it is a remarkable grouping of unusually pristine cards, a vast array of important cards suitable for launching on building sets or upgrading existing ones.
