Here are five of the coveted original Hartland statues that have been a hobby mainstay for more than six decades, an attractive array of the 8 1/2-inch plastic figures that includes Babe Ruth, Mickey Mantle, Ted Williams, Yogi Berra and Eddie Mathews. Four of the five figures have no balance issues and stand without difficulty; only the Ted Williams with cracked toeplate will require some tinkering. The breakdown: Mantle – Near-Mint, with the bat and the rare Near-Mint tag; Ruth – Ex-Mt, missing the bat; Berra – Near-Mint, missing the mask; Mathews – Very Good, with slight toning and some tiny nicks of paint loss on shoes, hat brim and glove; and Williams – Excellent, with the lightest of paint fading and with the bat present, with the cracked toeplate mentioned above.
