This is a fascinating piece from the Canadian Football League, a pristine complete set of the 1960 Topps CFL issue, with 88 cards in largely Ex-Mt to Near-Mint condition, with excellent color and gloss and a remarkably uniform and consistent presentation. Along with a unique front design that is markedly different from competing issues of the era, the backs feature biographical information in French and English, much in the fashion of O-Pee-Chee cards; the Football Funnies panels on the card backs are uniformly unscratched. Overall, the condition comes out to 38 percent Near-Mint and 58 percent Ex-Mt, with a handful below; there are a few off-centers and miscuts in the mix. Breakdown of keys: No. 1 Bailey – Very Good, 25 Kapp – Ex-Mt-Plus, 38 Mosca – Ex-Mt, 74 Rote – Near-Mint, 81 James – Excellent and 88 Clark – VG-Ex.
