Here’s the important 1976 Topps Football set looking precisely how it must have appeared when it rolled off the presses 45 years ago, which is to say Near-Mint to Mint or better condition, with some Near-Mint and an absolutely stunning presentation, with exceptional color and gloss. The two slabbed cards of the key Payton and Lambert Rookies at PSA 8 provide a nice glimpse into the wider condition range. The two missing numbers are No. 158 Randy White Rookie and No. 396 Staubach.
