Offered is an attractive game-worn helmet attributed to former defensive tackle Dave Pear during his three-year tenure with Tampa Bay from 1976-78. The Riddell Kralite Shell has the interior padding system and 01/76 crown code, with leather jaw pads intact and revealing minimal use. Helmet has the Riddell front bumper and Wildcat Snubber clear period clips that are not original – Top 93 + 94, Side 94 + 95. Green Dot undated open-eyed cage with side reinforcement diagonal bars is intact; Snaps indicate double low hookup, but the chinstrap is no longer present. Pear played for three teams during his NFL career between 1975-80 before retiring with injuries.
