Here’s a remarkable historical piece, a great condition college football program from the Notre Dame vs. Iowa football game that was slated for Nov. 23, 1963, and, of course, canceled because of the assassination of President Kennedy the day before. The 8-by-11-inch 52-page program is in outstanding Ex-Mt condition, a stunning artifact from one of the darkest days in modern American history. It comes with a photocopied newspaper article from the South Bend (Indiana) Tribune talking about the cancellation.
