This is a fascinating piece from the inaugural year of the San Diego Rockets, a Jim Barnett game-worn road jersey with cheesecloth green with yellow-and-white neck and arm yoke trim. Identifiers include two-color yellow-on-white tackle twill in a rare style jersey; it’s also unusual to find the original NOB from this early period. The shirt has Sand Knit Size 42 labeling on the tail and shows solid wear with identifier puckering. Barnett averaged 11.7 ppg for seven teams over a 12-year NBA career, including three years with the Rockets.
