Offered is a nice example of a popular mid-1930s non-sport issue, the R172 Wild West Series that features intricate and energetic artwork depicting cowboys, Indians and the history of the Old West. Given the extraordinary rarity of the card No. 25 Cowboy Outfit Premium, the set is considered complete at 48 cards. The offered group is fairly consistent with how these treasures are typically encountered in mature collections, essentially Good (75 percent) and Fair (25 percent).
