Here’s is one of the most colorful and coveted non-sport issues of the postwar era, the 1951 Bowman Red Menace set that chronicled much of the post-World War II encroachments of China and the USSR, a reflection of the Cold War mentality that was gripping the nation. The 2 ½-by-3 1/8-inch cards are found here in a wide condition range fairly consistent of how these treasured cards are found in mature collections. It comes out to 23 percent Excellent, 46 percent Very Good, 25 percent Good and 6 percent below.
