This is arguably among the most spectacular non-sport issues of the 1950s, the colorful Red Man Tobacco Indian Chiefs set that mimics all the best qualities of their counterparts the Red Man baseball series, with cards in the same size and boasting attractive, elegant artwork of Indian Chiefs alongside detailed biographical information. All of this is handsomely encased by an ornate blue framing that sets off both elements to good effect. The 4-by-3 5/8-inch cards are found here in a striking, pristine condition, essentially Near-Mint to Near-Mint to Mint, with exceptional color and gloss and a wonderful, consistent presentation.
