An incredibly rare example of the 1983 Topps Proof card picturing Tommy John as a New York Yankee! During the production of the 1983 Topps set, New York Yankees pitcher Tommy John was traded to the California Angels. Topps was able to update their ‘83 set and picture John as an Angel, but not before a handful of proofs were printed featuring John on his old team. One of the most legendary proof cards of the 1980s, this spectacular example is blank backed and graded SGC Authentic. A unique opportunity to add one of the great what if cards to your collection!
