Offered is a weighty array of complete sets from 40 years ago and the dawn of the modern baseball-card era with the arrival of Fleer and Donruss on the manufacturing scene. This simply astounding pile of pristine, virtually as-issued complete sets, numbers more than two dozen in total, including 18 from Fleer’s inaugural issue in 1981 and eight (8) from 1982, making for a whopping 17,160 cards. Add in another 660 cards in the same outstanding condition from five (5) of the 1981 Fleer Star Stickers complete sets and another 92 cards of extra Hall of Famers or Rookies and you've got nearly 18,000 cards that will make the winning bidder giggle and the postman groan.
