The 8 ½-by-11-inch letters are in essentially Near-Mint condition and dated in May and November of 1941, with both having content concerning efforts to put together an exhibition game the next spring between the Reds and the Detroit Tigers. Both letters are addressed to Walter O. Briggs Jr., the Detroit Tigers vice president. Both letters have Paul first-name signatures in ballpoint pen.
