Here’s one of the treasured artifacts from Willie Mays’ vaunted tenure with the New York Giants before the move to the West Coast in 1958, the important 1950s Pinback and Ribbon with the Bat and Ball jewelry. The offered 1 ¾-inch Pin features black-and-white image of Mays with the fabled NY insignia on his cap; it is accompanied by a glistening red, white and blue ribbon and the gold bat and ball jewelry pieces on a chain. The pin presents in Near-Mint fashion but has some tarnish to the back of the disc.
