Here’s a cardboard trifecta from the great Joe Namath, the brightest light in the American Football League galaxy in the mid-1960s and, by the end of the decade, performing his magic in the National Football League and winning the Super Bowl, to boot. These three cards nicely track the story of a Pro Football Hall of Famer in waiting: 1966 Topps No. 96 – Good, 1968 Topps No. 65 – Good and 1969 Topps No. 100 – Very Good.
