Here’s a cool artifact from the long-defunct Women’s Basketball League, a striking warmup jacket and pants combination attributed to Dorin Wilson from one of only three teams that managed to play all three seasons of the fledgling enterprise 40 years ago that was the first women’s professional league. The soft, royal-blue knit jacket has five snap buttons down the front, 3 ½-inch fold-down collar with colorful stripe patterns that are matched on sleeve ends and tail. “Minnesota” is screened vertically and the WBL patch is on the right chest and Wild Fillies logo on the back. Six Velcro fasteners remain on the upper back. Sand-Knit label is on the button path interior along with Kokesh Distributor label and washing instructions. The pants with drawstring have game tagging at the waist with Kokesh Distributor label and Sand-Knit tag and washing instructions. The lower leg has team striping with “Fillies” screened on vertically/
