This is one of the more unusual Goudey offerings from its heyday during The Great Depression, a 25-card black-and-white issue that features 2 3/8-by-3 7/8-inch unnumbered cards that constitute a baseball game as well as traditional card set biographical information. The offered set is basically Very Good to Ex-Mt, with the emphasis to Excellent. It comes out to 21 percent Ex-Mt, 46 percent Excellent and 33 percent Very Good. The sole missing card is Mickey Cochrane. The breakdown: Ex-Mt (5) – Coscarart, Dykes, Harris, Hemsley and Martin; Excellent (12) – Berger, Bordagaray, Brubaker, Castleman, Crosetti, Cuyler, Ferrell, Gomez – PSA 5, Greenberg – PSA 5, Hildebrand, Klein and Werber; and Very Good (7) – Bonura, Camilli, Derringer, Higgins, Newsom, Vosmik and Waner.
