Offered are five really nice condition cards from the important 1948 Leaf Baseball issue, one of the first mainstream baseball card issues following the end of World War II and an important starting point for a generation of advanced collectors. The array is in markedly better condition than these colorful cards are typically encountered in mature collections, headlined by three found in Excellent or better grades. The breakdown: No. 14 Johnson – PSA 5, No. 57 McCall – PSA 5, No. 72 Edwards – Ex-Mt, No. 95 Stirnweiss – Excellent-Plus, and No. 139 Hopp – PSA 5.5.
