Presented is an important group of cards from one of the first postwar baseball card issues, the 1948 Leaf set that was the first color set as the new age of baseball card production dawned. With dimensions of 2 3/8-by-2 7/8 inches, it was reminiscent of its predecessors from the Depression Era and an issue by its timing boasting an inordinate number of important Rookie cards; the offered array is pretty evenly divided between Good and Very Good, with a handful of cards above and below the range.
