The great Clemente is in the spotlight here in a pair of important Topps cards from two different stages of his fabled career. By 1959 he had four years under his belt as one of the most promising young players in the game, accolades noted in his 1959 Topps No. 478 (Ex-Mt-Plus); nine years and four batting titles, eight All-Star nods and an MVP Award later, his HOF credentials were established with the issuance of his 1968 Topps No. 150 (Near-Mint).
