Offered is an example of the important 1957 Topps Baseball issue, the first card set produced in the now-standard 2 ½-by-3 ½-inch format and found here in a genuinely uniform and consistent largely Good to Very Good condition, with some above the range and barely more than a couple of dozen cards below. It comes out to 11 percent Excellent to Ex-Mt, 41 percent Very Good, 41 percent Good and 7 percent Fair. In an issue renown for centering difficulties, about 30 percent of the total have the kind of centering that might typically prompt thoughts of an upgrade, though not all of those would be severe enough to dictate a formal off-center designation.
