Presented is a really nice array of cards from the iconic 1956 Topps Baseball issue, the company’s final effort in the larger 2 5/8-by-3 ¾-inch format and arguably the most attractive horizontal set ever created in the firm’s 70-plus years. In an array that is largely Excellent to Near-Mint, the lineup includes eight Hall of Famers and a number of the great stars of the era, along with seven of the Team cards that made their debut that year in a subset that would be utilized for much of the next quarter century.
