Offered is a standout example of the second year of three Post Cereal Baseball issues, the quaint undertaking that demanded significant scissoring skills from the youth of America, yielding standard-size 2 ½-by-3 ½-inch cards. The offered near set boasts better-than-typical cutting, yielding a near set markedly better than this notoriously condition-sensitive issue is typically encountered in mature collections. Uniquely, it is an array that is essentially Excellent to Ex-Mt, with a handful of cards above the range to Near-Mint and barely more than a dozen below, most of those to Very Good. Overall, it comes out to six percent Near-Mint, 47 percent Ex-Mt, 38 percent Excellent and nine percent below. The two missing numbers are No. 140 Marichal and No. 148 McMillan.
