Here’s the key 1977 Topps Baseball set looking largely as it must have looked when it rolled off the presses 45 years ago, which is to say Near-Mint to Mint, with a few below and a simply outstanding color and gloss. The Tier One Hall of Famers conform to the wider condition range; as it not uncommon with accumulations with a vending pedigree, there may be 20 percent or so with the kind of centering that might typically prompt thoughts of an upgrade, though not all of those would be severe enough to dictate a formal off-center designation.
