Presented is an important artifact for serious football card collectors, the inaugural Fleer issue that quite appropriately portrayed the crew from the brand-new American Football League, all in a nice, consistent mostly Excellent to Near-Mint blazer. As Fleer’s first-ever football offering, the issue was notorious for centering difficulties, and the offered array conforms to that axiom, with more than 1/3 of the group with the kind of centering that might typically prompt thoughts of an upgrade, though not all of those would be severe enough to dictate a formal off-center designation. As noted, the array boasts nice coloring and superb gloss, nicely showcasing a condition range that comes out to 19 percent Near-Mint, 51 percent Ex-Mt, 22 percent Excellent, 7 percent Very Good and just a couple of cards below to Good.
