Offered is a truly massive and imposing group of 1960s and 1970s Topps football cards, and array headlined by more than 185 Hall of Famers and a similar number of specials and stars, most in a highly collectible Excellent to Near-Mint condition, with some below the range and perhaps four dozen or more reaching above to Near-Mint to Mint. Names like Unitas, Tarkenton, Jurgensen, Starr, Butkus, Hornung, Namath, Sayers, Bradshaw and Staubach and a host of others headline, a remarkable group that also includes a bit of duplication of even some of the biggest names of the era. It’s an array that begs for a good deal of close examination, an old-time style auction lot loaded with value that only demands a bit of careful inspection.
