Offered is a handsome example of the colorful 1971 Topps Football issue, the condition-sensitive classic with full-bleed red and blue background borders that can make putting together a high-grade set more than a little challenging. The presented set is in an attractive mostly Ex-Mt to Near-Mint or better condition, with some below to Excellent. In an array displaying the coveted “vending bend” that bespeaks of uncirculated cardboard, the set is very clean and consistent making for a striking presentation of an important issue; as in most vending accumulations, there can be some centering vagaries.
