Offered is a highly attractive example of one of the coveted postcard issues, the team-issued 1979-80 Edmonton Oilers set that highlighted the arrival of Wayne Gretzky, who would go on to become the greatest star in the history of the sport. The set of 3 ½-by-5 ¼-inch color postcards feature elegant depictions of The Great One and his cohorts in a sterling mostly Ex-Mt-Plus to Near-Mint condition, with both versions of Eddie Mio included and the Gretzky card coming in at VG-Ex, though it presents much better and in accordance with the rest of the gang.
