Here’s the controversial classic that took the 1980s by storm and bewildered and befuddled a generation of concerned parents, the fabled Topps Garbage Pail Kids, found here in all their belligerent, gooey glory, as pristine as they are outrageous, and in this instance with a pair of unopened packs to complement the two complete series. The offered group of complete Series II and III cards (164) is essentially as issued, blazing Near-Mint to Mint monsters, so to speak, with a few Near-Mint and a spectacular presentation of vivid colors, gloss and all the colorful goofiness that the Topps graphic artists could muster. Included in the lot are two unopened packs (five stickers and gum) from Series II and III, in Excellent condition. A group of four slabbed cards from 1985 provide a nice glimpse into the wider condition range: 44B One-Eyed Jack – PSA 7, 56B Brutal Bridget – PSA 8, 66B Rachel Rodent – PSA 9 and 75A Off-the-Wall Paul – PSA 8.
