Here’s a wonderful card from the unparalleled canon of Hank Aaron cardboard, his 1962 Topps No. 300 in striking Ex-Mt-Plus condition. Coming in a card set notorious for condition sensitivity because of the delicate wood-grain borders, the card is doubly notable as a key element in the card catalog of a man who had virtually already established his HOF credentials not yet midway through his career. Another HOF career would follow; maybe he should have two plaques?
