Presented is a standout example of one of the charming Topps Baseball insert efforts of the decade of the 1960’s, the 1968 Game Inserts that were reminiscent of the fabled 1951 Topps Red and Blue Back issues from almost two decades earlier. The 2 ¼-by-3 ¼-inch inserts picture 14 Hall of Famers and many of the other great stars of the era in full-color portraits on the front that also include a game-result for those collectors inclined to subject their cardboard treasures to such indignities. The offered complete set is in solid Near-Mint or better overall condition, jostled only by the occasional off-center examples (a couple of cards have off-center or miscut qualifiers for the card backs): Mantle, Frank Robinson, Chance, McCormick and Kaline are off-center.
