Herein lies a veritable potpourri of cool stuff from primarily baseball, headlined by a high-grade 1979 Topps complete set and a 1975 Topps partial, both in outstanding condition that nearly rivals the uniform Near-Mint to Mint or better that pretty much applies to virtually everything from 1981 and beyond. It’s a great big pile of nearly 5,000 pristine cards that invites a good deal of careful examination. The breakdown: 1975 Topps Baseball Partial (450) – Near-Mint to Near-Mint to Mint, with some below and missing Munson and the Brett and Yount Rookies, with No. 320 Rose (Good), No. 500 Ryan (Very Good) and No. 660 Aaron (Good), plus about 250 assorted extras with some duplication and 10 HOFers and perhaps three or four dozen cards below the range; 1979 Topps Baseball Complete Set (726) – Near-Mint to Near-Mint to Mint, with the emphasis to the upper end of the spectrum and the Hall of Famers conforming to the wider condition range – cards boast wonderful color and gloss - perhaps 20 percent of the array has the kind of centering that might prompt thoughts of an upgrade, though not all of those would be severe enough to dictate a formal off-center designation;1981 Fleer Baseball Star Stickers (125); 1985 Fleer Baseball Complete Set (660); 1985 Leaf Baseball Complete Set (259); 1986 Fleer Baseball Partial Set (630/660); 1987 Fleer Baseball Complete Set (660); 1994 Donruss Baseball Complete Set (330); 1990 O-Pee-Chee Hockey Complete Set (330) – this is a factory set in the original cellophane; 1990 Score Hockey Complete Set (440); 1993-94 Leaf Hockey Series Two Set (220); 1990 Star Pics Basketball Boxed Set of Pro Prospects (70); and 1991 Star Pics Basketball Pro Prospects Art Set (70) in sealed box.
