Presented is an intriguing lot that touches on two important mainstream Topps baseball issues along with a healthy sampling of the popular 1975-79 Hostess baseball food issues that were long a mainstay for advanced collectors looking for something to collect beyond the traditional routes. The 1975 Topps near set is in simply outstanding overall condition, essentially Near-Mint to Near-Mint to Mint, with a few Ex-Mt cards and perhaps a dozen or so below Excellent. The array is missing only the Brett and Yount Rookies and a couple of commons (Nos. 170 and 383); the near set boasts excellent color and gloss and some of the typical centering vagaries that can accompany vending groups.
