Presented are three complete Topps baseball sets from the late 1970s, with cards that look just as they must have when they rolled off the presses more than 40 years ago. These are blazing Near-Mint to Near-Mint to Mint treasures, cards displaying the coveted “vending bend” that so eloquently bespeaks of uncirculated cardboard; the Hall of Famers, Rookies and other keys conform to the wider condition range; as with most vending accumulations, there can be a range of centering vagaries. The lot includes a single 1978 Topps Set (726) and a pair of sets from 1979 (726 cards each).
