Presented are eight early 1980s Topps baseball issues and one historic Fleer issue, all looking essentially as they must have when they started rolling off the presses 40 years ago. With the coveted “vending bend” that bespeaks of uncirculated cardboard and the factory-fresh look, the cards boast vivid colors and amazing gloss and a consistent, uniform presentation that is basically unimprovable. A pristine 1982 Fleer set complements a Topps array from 1982-85, providing a wonderful look back into the earliest years of the modern baseball card era. The breakdown: 1982 Fleer (660), 1982 Topps (792), 1983 Topps (792), 1984 Topps (two sets, 792 count) and 1985 Topps (three sets, 792 count). For those of you keeping score at home – and you know who you are – that’s 6,204 vintage baseball cards in simply scrumptious condition.
