Offered is a late 1980s Texas Rangers road grey knit jersey attributed to speedster outfielder Jeff Stone who played briefly for the club after signing as a free agent in February of 1989. Shirt has the six-button front with Velcro swatch between B2 and B3. Vertical arch “Texas” and NOB and back number are in royal-blue on white polytwill; Rawlings Size 42 labeling is at the tail with “19” and “Set 1 1989” flap tags. All elements are original and reveal minimal wear because Stone only played a dozen road games early in the 1989 campaign. Stone was purchased from Texas by the Red Sox in late June that year.
