Presented is a truly unique artifact from the legendary Henry Aaron, a stunning 33-inch black Louisville Slugger Commemorative bat that was narrowly produced and gifted only to front-line Braves employees, in this instance to his well-known and highly regarded longtime personal assistant, Susan Bailey. Adding to the extraordinary nature of the piece with stunning gold-leaf imprinting elegantly adorning the bat, the barrel also features the notation “14 Division Titles, 1991-2005” and “Susan Bailey” in the famed facsimile cursive signature that would traditionally have featured the player’s name. The bat is virtually as issued and without blemish; a copy of a Letter of Authenticity from Bailey accompanies the lot, along with a Bailey/Aaron hologram that is affixed to the piece.
