Presented is a remarkable assortment of vintage Detroit Tigers memorabilia, an amazing array that includes hundreds of photos, including many first-generation Wirephotos, Lineup Cards, Ticket Stubs, vintage trading cards, slides and much more. It’s a simply stunning presentation of important Tigers pieces that touches on the key stars from several generations along with their American League counterparts, headlined by four dozen photographs of the most beloved Tiger of all, Al Kaline, plus a scorecard from similarly beloved broadcaster Ernie Harwell and a pair of ticket stubs from 1935. It’s the kind of lot that begs for a good deal of close examination and an array that Tiger fans would find intriguing on a number of different levels. The temptation would be to try to present this chronologically, but the vastness and diverse nature makes that problematic.
