Presented is an imposing group of high-grade primarily Topps basketball cards from the 1970s, plus near sets of 1974 and 1981 Topps, a partial set from 1975 and another near set from 1987 Fleer, the latter missing just a single card: you know who. The whole group is as impressive as it is diverse, mostly Near-Mint or better, with a few Ex-Mt cards and some below. Here’s the breakdown: 1973 Topps (100) – with 20 Hall of Famers and many Specials, including Erving, Maravich, Chamberlain, Barry and Abdul-Jabbar; 1974 Topps (244/264) – near set missing 20 cards – the missing Nos.: 18, 23, 25, 36 Walton, 46, 60, 77, 101, 107, 111, 125, 130, 139, 142, 147, 153, 159, 167, 174 and 236; 1975 Topps partial set (258) – with most of the key HOFers present and perhaps 30 percent of the array with the kind of centering that might typically prompt thoughts of an upgrade, though not all of those would be severe enough to dictate a formal off-center designation; 1977 Topps (65) – with 15 HOFers, including Dantley Rookie, Abdul-Jabbar, Havlicek, Hayes, Monroe, Unseld, Lanier, Cowens and Murphy; 1981 Topps near set (196/198) West – including Bird, Bird Super Action, McHale Rookie, Magic, Magic Super Action and Laimbeer Rookie; 1987 Fleer near set (131/132) – missing only Jordan No. 59; and assorted 1969-75 Topps Team Stickers (13).
