This is simply a superb example of the difficult 1970 Topps Baseball Cello box, offered here in rarely encountered condition, easily Ex-Mt, with only some light scuffing at the corners and a few edges. With the Mets’ ace Tom Seaver pictured on the box top, the 11-by-8-inch box (2 ¼ inches deep) would have held 24 Cello packs, each with 33 cards from the iconic “Grey Lady” card issue that launched the turbulent decade of the 1970s. Hard to imagine finding this rare box style in a more attractive and virtually problem-free condition.
