Presented is an imposing group of mostly 1950s Topps baseball, an array that includes more than two dozen Hall of Famers and a boatload of Specials, All-Stars and stars, plus a handful of important Bowmans and nearly a dozen of the popular 1947-66 Exhibit Card Co. classics. The bulk of the huge group is from the three classic Topps sets from 1957-59, an array that is headlined by high-grade cards from the great Sandy Koufax, who is also represented by a similarly outstanding example of his second-year Topps card from 1956. It’s an old-fashioned style auction lot, loaded with value and just begging for a good deal of close examination. We'll do our part with a comprehensive listing, starting with a lonely 1911 T205 Gold Border Robert Byrne (Fair) and a 1952 Wheaties Tin Tray Stan Musial in Excellent condition, with some of the common paper residue on the back. In the listing that follows, the card indicated is the player’s regular-issue version unless otherwise noted.
