Here’s one of the more unusual lots we've offered in some time, an absolutely massive accumulation of vintage mostly Topps baseball from the 1950s to the 1970s, a lower-grade group of literally thousands of cards that is headlined by more than 100 Hall of Famers, including many of the most coveted and important pasteboards of the postwar era. The array is broadly Fair to Very Good, with the emphasis probably to Fair to Good. For obvious reasons, the numbers are approximate: from the non-HOF group, there are about 300 or so cards from the 1950s, maybe 2,500 from the 1960s and perhaps 3,200 or so from the 1970s. From that last group, the wider condition range is a bit better overall, perhaps Good to Excellent, with some below to Fair and even some reaching Near-Mint status. In the listing that follows, cards indicated are the player’s regular-issue card unless otherwise indicated.
