This is a huge group of cards from the iconic 1970 Topps Baseball issue, an array that is broadly Ex-Mt to Near-Mint or better, with some below and a good deal of duplication, often involving many of the greatest names of the era. More than ½ of the group is from the first series (Nos. 1-132), with the heaviest duplication and missing only five numbers (Nos. 9, 10, 12, 77 and 78). Almost 300 cards from the array are from Series Two through Five. The Hall of Fame roster includes Rose, Brock (2), Carew, Palmer (2), Fingers (2), Aparicio (5), Schoendienst (2), Perez, Hodges, Bunning, Morgan (2) and Cepeda; there are also 20 All-Star Subset cards, including Bench, Frank Robinson, Jackson (2), Yastrzemski, Carew, Brooks Robinson, McCovey, Marichal (5), McDowell, Petrocelli (2), Santo (2), McLain (2), Kessinger and Milan. In addition, there are almost four dozen cards from the League Leaders Subset, including two full sets, plus 12 World Series Subset cards, 10 Team cards and two Checklists.
