Offered here is a solid example of an important Topps issue from the 1970’s, the 660-card 1973 set, found here in an attractive, consistent presentation in a condition range a bit broader than might typically be found in mature collections, largely Excellent to Near-Mint, with some below and the emphasis to Ex-Mt (with a number of Near-Mint cards as well). This was the final time that Topps printed and distributed the cards in series throughout the spring and summer, a format that ruled for more than two decades. The higher numbers are symbolically important because they are the last of the breed, with sets going forward printed all at the same time rather than staggered through the summer.
