Presented is a large group of Topps baseball cards from the first half of the decade of the 1970s, an array that features an extraordinary number of more than 100 Hall of Famers and a boatload of Specials, All-Stars and stars, plus a high-grade complete-set example of the quirky 1977 Topps Cloth Sticker issue. A lower-grade 1973 Topps Mike Schmidt Rookie card headlines, along with better-grade examples from the likes of Clemente, Rose, Ryan, Ted Williams, Mays, Cepeda, Killebrew, Brooks Robinson, Winfield, Sutton and countless others, along with a number of the various Specials and subsets seeded throughout those six issues. The condition range is detailed for each segment and is often a bit wider than what might typically be encountered mature collections; as noted above, the charming 1977 Topps Cloth Sticker set (55) is found here in an outstanding Ex-Mt to Near-Mint condition. It’s an old-fashioned style auction lot, loaded with value and just begging for a good deal of close examination. We'll do our part with a comprehensive listing; in the text that follows, the card indicated is the player’s regular-issue version unless otherwise noted.
