This is a handsome home Mets pinstripe attributed to Mets journeyman reliever John Pacella, who pitched for five different teams in a six-year career from 1977-86. The knit shirt has the seven-button front, with royal-blue pinstripes and “Mets” and his No. 20 front and back in royal tackle twill on orange twill. The famed Mets disc patch is zig-zag affixed to the left sleeve. An intact collar swatch reveals “42 77 20,” and the Rawlings tail label has a flap tag with “Set 1 1977.” Shirt shows solid, consistent wear.
