This is a really nice home pinstripe Cubs jersey from reliever Horacio Pina, who labored in the Windy City for a bit more than ½ of a season in 1974. The shirt has the Wilson Size 42 collar label and strip tag of “36 74 1 42”; a tail swatch “74” matches the calligraphy and year. It has the finely-ribbed blue stretch knit collar and sleeve-end accents, with the famed Cubs logo on the left chest, plus the Cubbie patch on the left sleeve in tight, zig-zag stitching. Pina’s No. 36 has been changed to No. 62 on the back; shirt reveals some staining on the mid-to-lower front. Pina compiled a lifetime log of 23-23, with a 3.25 ERA for six clubs over eight years.
