Coming off the worst season in Green Bay Packers history, Vince Lombardi took over the storied franchise, who was 1-10-1 the previous season. It didn't take too long for Lombardi to be revered as one of the best coaches in the league. In fact, the NFL Championship trophy is named after the fiery Italian. Offered in this lot is a signed check by Lombardi right before the Packers went to training camp that season. This check was written to the Hotel Northland on May 7, 1959 for $31. This signature has been slabbed an authenticated by BAS.
