Offered here is an outstanding example of the classic 1972 Topps Basketball issue, a partial set found in an attractive mostly Ex-Mt to Near-Mint overall assessment, with some below and the emphasis probably to the upper end of the spectrum. The array represents roughly ½ of a complete set and includes more than three dozen extra duplicates. This was Topps’ second standard-size hoops issue from the era after two consecutive years of offering oversized cards, and at 264 cards the company’s largest ever to that date.
